Hardin County adopts multiple grant resolutions, including LETPA and Project Safe Neighborhoods

Emergency Management Coordinator Aaron Tupper requested authorization to submit an Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) application and a State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) application; the court adopted both resolutions.
Grants Coordinator Clay Woodward requested and the court adopted Resolution 5-25 to submit the FY26 LETPA Sustaining Tactical Response Team project grant application in an amount not to exceed $25,000, and Resolution 6-25 to submit a Project Safe Neighborhoods application not to exceed $50,000. Health Inspector ReJena Bolton separately received approval to apply for a Walmart Community Grant of $4,000 and an Entergy Grants Foundation award of $1,000 to support the annual Courthouse Christmas Tree Lighting event.
