FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — The Fayette County Board of Commissioners on July 11, 2024 unanimously approved several routine and project items, including non-objections to two annexation notifications, the appointment of Bobby Ferrell to the Recreation Commission, and a $636,608 contract award to Gallagher Asphalt Co., Inc. to resurface Goza Road.
The Board voted 4-0 (Commissioner Eric K. Maxwell absent) to not object to an annexation notification from the Town of Brooks for an approximately 8.28-acre parcel (Parcel No. 0409 064) south of the Norfolk Southern Railroad Line and Price Road.
