At the March 28 Charles Mix County meeting, 4‑H Program Advisor Lesley Rygaard and 4‑H Program Assistant Jo Cee Johnston gave an overview of 4‑H activities, staffing responsibilities, summer plans and the upcoming County Fair, and stated that 9.7% of county youth participate in 4‑H programs or outreach.
Additionally, Jacob Sonne of SPN Associates reviewed a planned drainage system for the City of Ravinia, outlined next steps and timelines and answered commissioners’ questions; the presentation was received and no action was taken.
Both presentations were informational; the board did not vote or direct staff to take immediate further action during the meeting. Commissioners thanked presenters and moved on to other agenda items.
