LAKE ANDES, S.D. — The Charles Mix County Board of Equalization on April 9 approved a county-wide assessed valuation of $1,963,997,443 for 2024 and granted a series of property tax credits and exemptions presented by Director of Equalization Denise Weber.
Denise Weber, director of equalization, told the board the county’s total assessed value rose from $1,824,902,515 in 2023 to $1,963,997,443 in 2024, an increase of $139,094,928. Commissioners voted unanimously to accept the valuation roll.
