The Freemansburg Borough Council on Aug. 19, 2025, approved two committee appointments and granted pavilion use to a local church.
Council accepted a letter of intent from Andrew Ward to join the Parks & Recreation Committee; the motion passed 6-0 with Rudy Gallich recorded as abstaining. Council subsequently accepted a letter of intent from Rudy Gallich to serve on the Parks & Recreation Committee; that motion passed with Gallich recorded as abstaining from voting on his own appointment. Council also authorized Christ Lutheran Church on Main Street to use the borough pavilion on Sept. 14, 2025; the motion passed 7-0.
