Elk County commissioners voted 3-0 on Feb. 3 to approve Concept 1 from ASM Engineering Consultants for the driveway at 1285 Evergreen.
Chairman Doug Hendricks called the special meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. Commissioners Jake Liebau and Perry Russell (participating by telephone) and County Clerk Kerry E. Harrod were present. Diane Cucar of the county's Community Development department presented two layout options for the driveway: Concept 1, submitted by ASM Engineering Consultants, and Concept 2, the original layout from MKEC.
Cucar said Concept 1 would reduce earthwork by about 900 CY (approximately 900 cubic yards) compared with Concept 2. After the presentation, Commissioner Jake Liebau moved to approve Concept 1; Commissioner Perry Russell seconded. The motion carried 3-0, with Liebau, Russell and Hendricks voting to approve.
The meeting record shows the board then voted to adjourn at 1:41 p.m. There were no additional conditions, amendments, or public comments recorded in the minutes regarding the driveway project.
County staff listed on the meeting record include Diane Cucar (Community Development), Don Sanders (Public Works) and Sarah Evans (staff member); Kerry E. Harrod attested to the minutes.
