Commissioner Jake Liebau moved to deny the petition pursuant to KSA 68-117; Commissioner Perry Russell seconded the motion and it carried 3-0.
The board also voted, pursuant to KSA 68-102, to decline to lay out a public road extension to the Phillips property. County Counselor Paul Dean had advised the board on the petition’s legal posture prior to the vote. No further action was recorded at the meeting.
