Commissioners sign Penco agreement for Bridge North of Blakeman and hear Road & Bridge updates

He said Cahoj will perform the dirt work and that rock will be placed on both sides of the bridge. Lanning reported that crews recently repaired the bridge on Road 12 and Road S by St. Johns Church, that work is planned on the Lone Star culvert next followed by work at Wilkinson's, and that some crew members have been working weekends to keep up with projects. He noted a grader listed on Big Iron had a most‑recent online listing of $25,500 when last checked that morning.
Commissioners and Lanning discussed hauling rock this winter and possible use of rock pits countywide. Commissioner Lincoln Pochop suggested Road & Bridge share regular updates in the local newspaper so residents know what the department is doing.
