Recycling hours set, cardboard tote approved; crushed concrete sale not yet decided

Recycling/Landfill Supervisor Corey Castens and residents Ana Vargas, Joe Samson Jr. and Dana Philpott asked the commissioners to set new hours and provide a cardboard tote. The board and Castens agreed to set recycling hours to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and to make a tote available for cardboard.
Castens also asked whether crushed concrete from the landfill will be sold; the minutes record the question but do not record a final decision on sales logistics or pricing. Castens announced the Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed for the Fourth of July.
The board's actions change access hours and add a cardboard collection option but leave the crushed-concrete disposition open for later clarification.
