Castens said the Facility Operating Plan does not need immediate revision but that the quarterly reports will need to be filed under the new schedule.
Commissioners and Castens also discussed trenching a waterline to enable a sprinkler system on the landfill pit to address dryness and dust control. No construction contract or funding appropriation was recorded in the minutes; the conversation identified the work as a maintenance/infrastructure consideration under further review.
The board later adopted Resolution No. 2025-05 amending landfill dumping fees. The minutes do not show specific vote counts for the resolution; they record that the motion was made and "carried."
