Ford County commissioners approved payment of $90,600 on Jan. 5, 2026 to Kansas 911 for annual call-handling services.
Director Elliot Linke presented the invoice for Kansas 911’s annual call-handling program and asked the board to authorize payment. Commissioner Chris Boys moved to approve the invoice; Commissioner Gary Thomas seconded the motion and the board voted 3-0 to carry the measure.
The approval covers the county’s annual contract charge for Kansas 911 call handling for calendar-year services. No additional amendments or funding sources were specified during the presentation. The board took the vote as part of routine county business during the meeting at the Ford County Government Center.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Jan. 20, 2026, when the county will consider other items on its agenda.
