The Washington County Board of Commissioners approved budget amendments and transfers during the Feb. 1 meeting.
Finance Officer Missy Dixon said the amendments and transfers were included in the commissioners' package. Commissioner Ann Keyes moved to approve the budget amendments, Commissioner Carol Phelps seconded, and the board approved the motion on a unanimous roll-call vote. Dixon also noted that the county experienced an increase in sales-tax receipts from November to December, but did not provide a specific percentage or dollar amount at the meeting.
No supplementary budget items or new departmental appropriation requests were approved beyond the amendments contained in the packet; the motion implemented the adjustments as presented.
