Washington County commissioners approve consent agenda and budget amendments

Washington County’s Board of Commissioners unanimously approved its consent agenda and adopted budget amendments during its March 1 meeting.
Finance Officer Missy Dixon presented budget transfers and amendments that were included in the commissioners’ packet. Commissioner Tracey Johnson moved to approve the budget amendments; Commissioner Ann Keyes seconded and a roll call vote was unanimous.
The consent agenda also included approval of the minutes, tax refunds and releases, a proclamation declaring March 2021 as March for Meals Month, and adoption of a Fund Balance Policy. Chair Bill Sexton recognized Tina Dunlow, deputy finance officer, as Employee of the Quarter.
No dissent was recorded on the motions taken under the consent agenda or on the budget amendments. The board’s vote was recorded by roll call for each motion.
