During the May 24 recessed meeting, the Washington County Board of Commissioners approved two formal procedural motions.
Commissioner Tracey Johnson moved to go into closed session pursuant to NCGS §143-318.11(a)(3) (attorney-client privilege); Commissioner Ann Keyes seconded. The chair conducted a roll-call vote: Commissioners Walker, Phelps, Johnson, Keyes and Sexton all voted "yea," and the motion carried unanimously.
At 8:35 PM Commissioner Julius Walker, Jr. moved to adjourn; Commissioner Carol Phelps seconded. The chair called the roll and the motion carried unanimously, closing the meeting.
