Llano County commissioners repurpose funds for $830,537 equipment purchase, raise EMS quarters rent and accept DPS camera donation

The court approved moving 2021 Tax Note funds to the Road & Bridge department to purchase two motor graders and one excavator, with the purchase price not to exceed $830,537.01. Commissioner Mike Sandoval moved the measure and Commissioner Peter Jones seconded; the motion passed unanimously with Commissioner Linda Raschke recorded as absent.
The court approved a companion motion to repurpose American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for the same equipment purchase, again not to exceed $830,537.01. That motion was made by Commissioner Peter Jones, seconded by Commissioner Jerry Don Moss, and passed unanimously.
Separately, the court amended the Llano County–Hamilton County EMS Interlocal Agreement to increase rental for EMS quarters to $4,775.00 per month. That action was moved by Commissioner Mike Sandoval, seconded by Commissioner Peter Jones, and passed unanimously.
The court also voted to accept a donation from the Texas Department of Public Safety to the Llano County Sheriff’s Department consisting of 10 WatchGuard 4RE body-worn cameras, 10 WatchGuard 4RE desk chargers and 10 WatchGuard 4RE in-car camera systems. Commissioner Peter Jones moved to accept the donation; Commissioner Jerry Don Moss seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
All four recorded commissioners and the presiding officer were present for the session; one commissioner (Precinct 2, Linda Raschke) was listed as absent. The meeting minutes record the motions and seconders for each action but do not list individual roll-call votes by commissioner.
