Clerk of Council Barbara Allen read Ordinance 2023-10, authorizing a traffic-enforcement program with Sensys Gatso USA, Inc.; Councilman Haase moved, Councilwoman Maruschak seconded, and after suspending the rules the council voted unanimously to pass the ordinance as an emergency measure. The minutes record no substantive debate in open session.
Council also approved Ordinance 2023-11 to advertise and authorize a contract for mechanical upgrades at the Cassidy Theatre; the council suspended rules and passed the ordinance by unanimous roll call. Resolution 2023-14 was read and passed to accept the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) 2023 Energized Community Grant and sponsorship; the resolution was adopted as an emergency measure.
