Rock County commissioners approve two Special Designated Liquor Licenses for Ranch Expo

Casey Foster, representing the Country Club, applied for an SDL for the Ranch Expo to be held June 17–19, 2025; the board approved the license unanimously. The board also approved an SDL application from Niobrara Vineyards for June 18–19, 2025; that motion likewise passed on a unanimous roll call.
During discussion the board concluded that future SDLs for events at the community center should be administered by the city, which schedules and owns the building. The board did not change county policy but recorded that city handling would be more efficient going forward.
The approvals cover alcohol service for the specified Ranch Expo dates; the board did not attach additional conditions in the meeting record.
