Rock County requests auto-gate policy, tables road-mowing changes and seeks applicants for 2026 highway superintendent

Residents Becky and Bjarn Bearnson brought a damaged culvert to commissioners’ attention and offered to pay for repairs. Commissioners also considered staffing for 2026: Tagge Max raised the road employee/highway superintendent position and Arganbright advised the board that the position must be advertised for at least two weeks before hiring; the matter was tabled until September for further action.
