Bassett, Neb. — The Rock County Board of Commissioners took routine administrative actions at their Nov. 18 meeting, approving minutes, the agenda and the bulk of audited claims before adjourning at 4:19 p.m.
Commissioner Faye Smith moved and Commissioner Colby Sybrant seconded approval of the Nov. 4 meeting minutes; the roll‑call vote recorded Smith Yes, Sybrant Yes, Hollenbeck Absent. The board then approved the day's agenda on the same roll‑call basis.
The commissioners reviewed a detailed claims register covering General, Road, Library and Local Assistance accounts, including items such as natural gas, senior center support, road crew labor, fuel, equipment, and registration and lodging charges. Commissioner Smith moved and Sybrant seconded approval of the audited claims with the exception of the Niobrara Valley Consultant claim; the roll‑call vote carried with Smith Yes, Sybrant Yes, Hollenbeck Absent.
Commissioner Smith moved to adjourn and Sybrant seconded; the meeting adjourned at 4:19 p.m. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for Dec. 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
