BOSAC approves December minutes, hears staff updates and adjourns

At the Jan. 27 meeting, the Breckenridge Open Space Advisory Commission approved the Dec. 16, 2024 meeting minutes “as presented.” Staff provided brief updates including forest health, grant requests, Breckenridge History concerns (questions about land ownership around the Preston cabins), Hoosier Pass plowing, the 119 Bonanza Trail easement, Little Daisy, and a McCain Open Space design-and-management RFP. Mr. Semmer asked staff to verify parcel ownership where the Blue River Trail crosses private land; staff said they would relay the comment to Breckenridge History.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn made by Chair Nikki LaRochelle and seconded by Bobbie Zanca; the meeting ended at 8:17 p.m. The next BOSAC meeting is scheduled for Feb. 17, 2025.
