Butler County canvasses primary results, sets final FY24 meeting date and approves claims

At its June 11 meeting the Butler County supervisors certified local primary nominations for the November ballot, set a final FY24 meeting for June 28 (no July 2 meeting), approved claims and adjourned to June 18, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
The Butler County Board of Supervisors canvassed June 4 primary results, set scheduling dates and approved routine business during the June 11 regular meeting.
The board certified the local nominees from the June 4 primary for the November general election: Greg Barnett for County Supervisor District 1 (Republican), Leslie Groen for County Auditor (Republican) and Jason S Johnson for County Sheriff (Republican). The board approved claims and set a final FY24 Board of Supervisors meeting for June 28, 2024; there will be no meeting on July 2. The board adjourned the regular meeting to June 18, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
No public comment was received during the meeting and routine motions to approve the agenda and minutes were recorded as carried with "all ayes."
