Butler County supervisors approve FY24 revenue transfer and $196,000 public health sub-fund

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Wayne Dralle with members Rusty Eddy and Greg Barnett present. The board approved the agenda and the minutes of the previous meeting by unanimous votes.
Leslie Groen, the county auditor, reported drainage problems in front of the courthouse that have left standing water and damaged the lawn; Groen said a company has been contacted to address the issue. Matt Morris, the county conservation director, discussed the transfer of FY24 revenue to the reserve account; the board approved that transfer on a motion by Greg Barnett and a second by Rusty Eddy.
Groen reviewed the FY25 Public Health Annual Sub-Fund Agreement, identified in the minutes as $196,000. The board approved the agreement on a motion by Rusty Eddy, seconded by Barnett. The board also approved a utility permit for Butler County REC at the intersection of Elm and 150th (motion by Rusty Eddy; second by Greg Barnett).
David Scanlan of the Engineer's Office provided an update to the board (the minutes do not supply further detail). No public comment was received. The board approved county claims and acknowledged receipt of Manure Management Plan short-form annual updates for Snow Rock Dairies LLC #69067.
The board adjourned at 9:10 a.m. and scheduled an adjourned session for June 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
