Butler County supervisors approve utility permits, claims and acknowledge manure-plan updates

At its July 30 meeting the Butler County Board of Supervisors approved two utility permits, approved claims, acknowledged manure management plan annual updates, and adjourned.
Supervisor Rusty Eddy moved and Greg Barnett seconded approval of a permit for Butler County REC to install underground service at 12402 Quail Ave; the motion carried with the minutes recorded as "all ayes." The board then approved a permit for Cedar Falls Utilities to extend fiber along Yale Ave and 320th St; that motion also passed on Eddy's motion and Barnett's second. The board approved claims as presented (motion by Barnett, second by Eddy; recorded as "all ayes").
The board acknowledged receipt of Manure Management Plan short-form annual updates for PI-264 #65487, PI-262 #65471, and PI-263 #65472. No engineer update was given during the meeting.
The board adjourned at 9:56 a.m. and scheduled the next regular meeting for Aug. 6, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
