The Butler County Board of Supervisors handled routine business at its Aug. 13 meeting, approving county claims, acknowledging a manure-management plan update, and adjourning to Aug. 20, 2024.
Greg Barnett moved and Rusty Eddy seconded approval of claims; the motion carried with all ayes. The board also acknowledged receipt of Manure Management Plan short-form annual updates for Ten Hoeve Dairy #66092; no action was taken beyond acknowledgement.
Chairman Wayne Dralle moved to adjourn at 9:32 a.m.; Rusty Eddy seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. The board set its next meeting for Aug. 20, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
During public comment earlier in the meeting, Auditor Leslie Groen noted that the online auction for courthouse equipment is ending this week and that a temporary part-time custodian position has been posted online.
