Butler County supervisors approve routine business, swear in two sheriff deputies

The Butler County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 20, 2024 approved routine county business and sworn in two sheriff deputies.
Chairman Wayne Dralle called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and, with Rusty Eddy and Greg Barnett present, the board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Barnett, seconded by Eddy. The board then approved the minutes of the previous meeting on a motion by Eddy, seconded by Barnett.
Roxie Nicolaus, Butler County Treasurer, presented the semi-annual treasurer’s report and said there was "nothing different." The board approved the report on a motion by Barnett, seconded by Eddy. Later in the meeting two sheriff deputies, Maxwell Roelfs and Benjamin Hemer, were sworn in.
The board approved county claims on a motion by Eddy, seconded by Barnett. The meeting was adjourned at 9:26 a.m.; supervisors set the next regular meeting for Aug. 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
The minutes record standard procedural approvals and a brief personnel action; no public comments were received at the session.
