Spencer County Fiscal Court approved two facilities contracts at its March 18 meeting: a $8,592.43 award to Cervices, LLC to replace K‑style seamless gutters and downspouts at the courthouse and a $16,209.32 contract with CertaPro Painters for exterior painting.
Magistrate Cotton moved and Magistrate Pharris seconded the gutter repair contract after the court reviewed a detailed estimate describing seamless gutters, downspouts, boom‑lift rental and related hardware. For the painting, Magistrate Travis moved and Magistrate Stump seconded a motion to hire CertaPro; the vendor proposal in the packet listed a deposit, a balance and an itemized scope for soffit, siding, fascia and window frames.
Both contracts were approved by voice vote with all members present voting 'aye.' The work is to be scheduled once the vendors and county finalize timing and any necessary permits.
Provenance: Vendor estimates and motions are in the March 18 meeting packet and were read during the courthouse maintenance agenda items.
