The Spencer County Fiscal Court voted April 15 to require that road repairs in the Heritage Hills development be completed by June 30, 2024 and approved language tying final acceptance to the satisfaction of the Road Foreman and the County engineer.
The motion, made by Magistrate Will Eldridge and seconded by Magistrate Mike Stump, passed by voice vote with Magistrate Danny Pharris absent. The directive followed a letter from the County Attorney and a response from the developer indicating repairs would begin.
The court instructed county staff to monitor completion and to withhold final acceptance until the Road Foreman and the County engineer certify the work meets county standards.
