At the Jan. 22 Cheatham County Legislative Body meeting, commissioners approved several routine administrative and consent items.
County Mayor Kerry McCarver presented offers on delinquent tax properties: $3,400 for a parcel off Walkup Road (Map 95 Parcel 101.03) and $500 for a parcel on Mt. Pleasant Road (Map 99 Parcel 001.25); both offers were approved by roll call votes recorded in the minutes. The commission also approved an amendment to a contract in lieu of a performance bond and maintenance agreements for copiers and ID equipment.
The Budget Committee approved declaring multiple county assets surplus (broken Konica Minolta copiers and Okidata equipment) to be sold on GovDeals. Road Superintendent Robert Hester’s 2018 road list was approved. The commission appointed six Notary Public applicants on the consent calendar.
These items were recorded across multiple resolutions in the meeting packet (Resolutions 4–18 and 22–27).
