Cheatham County approves multiple budget amendments and a $4.2 million school maintenance note

The package was recommended by the Budget Committee and approved by roll-call vote 12–0; funding sources were described as various.
Separately, commissioners authorized a Solid Waste/Sanitation Fund amendment allocating $7,978 to landfill operation and maintenance using Solid Waste Used Oil Grant funds. The body also authorized a three-year School Maintenance Capital Outlay Note not to exceed $4,200,000 to support school maintenance needs; that measure passed by roll-call vote 12–0. Finally, the commission voted to extend the deadline for adopting the proposed FY2019–2020 budget from May 20 to June 5.
