Cheatham County approves contracts, budgets and $4.46 million school bus garage in Nov. 16 meeting

County Mayor Kerry McCarver presented several items that the body approved. Commissioners voted 12–0 to allow the mayor to sign an amended contract for fuel tanks at the county highway garage. The commission later approved the Phase 2 design contract for Sycamore Square and awarded a construction bid to C & C for Phase 2; each of those roll-call votes recorded one abstention by Commissioner Ed Greer. The Novatime support contract with Andrews Technology, recommended by the tech committee, passed unanimously by roll call.
