Contracts and procurement steps: The commission approved the mayor's signature on a Jarrett Fire contract and addendum for a fire-alarm system installation; the Jarrett Fire proposal included an estimated total of $5,863.32 for the immediate scope of work and prorated monitoring noted in the attachment to the minutes. The commission also approved a Novatech copier agreement for Building and Codes contingent upon attorney review.
Property/letters-of-intent: Commissioners authorized the mayor to enter into letters of intent permitting potential purchasers to access county property at 1037 Thompson Road for due diligence and granting reasonable exclusivity periods, subject to final commission approval of any sale.
EMS/Stryker: The commission approved the mayor's pending signature on a Stryker contract for EMS equipment, contingent on county attorney approval and required public notice; the contract exhibits included equipment and service schedules with a total listed amount of $981,200 in the packet. The minutes record the funding source for year one as Tennessee local grant funds. The motion passed by roll call vote 10–0–2 absent.
