Cheatham County confirms mayoral appointee to water board, announces committee meetings

Commissioner Walter Weakley moved and Commissioner Diana Pike Lovell seconded confirmation of Mayor Kerry McCarver’s appointment of Larry Roberts to the Water/Waste Water Board to replace Debbie Small; the confirmation carried by voice vote with one absence recorded. The mayor also announced he had appointed David Shores to the East Montgomery Utility Board (no confirmation vote recorded in the meeting minutes).
Mayor McCarver announced the Redistricting Committee will meet Oct. 19 at 6:00 P.M. in the General Sessions Courtroom and the Jail Committee will meet Oct. 28 in the David McCullough Room at 2:00 P.M. The meeting record also contains other routine administrative notices and recognitions.
