The commission approved Resolution 2023-02-01 to rezone Tax Map 45 parcels 223.01–223.04 on Boyds Creek Highway from R-1 (Rural Residential) to R-2M (Medium Density Residential). Greg Haggard (committee member) moved approval; Chad Ogle (committee member) seconded; the motion passed by voice vote with a recorded tally reported as 21 yes and 4 absent.
