Sevier County Commission approves multiple zoning changes, appointments and agreements

The commission approved Resolution 2023-08-01 to rezone properties including Tax Map 13 Parcels 164.23 and 164.13 and Tax Map 9 Parcel 42.01 (address: 970 Douglas Dam Road) from R-1, rural residential, to R-2, high-density residential, at the request of Fortune 5 Development. The motion was made by Greg Haggard and seconded by Ronnie Allen and carried by roll call vote 24 yes, 1 absent.
