The Loudon County Commission on Sept. 3 approved multiple resolutions amending the county zoning map and adopted several budget and personnel actions, the minutes show.
Commissioners considered a series of rezoning resolutions affecting named parcels and addresses (the minutes list parcel and tax-map references for each resolution). Motions to approve the listed zoning amendments were made and carried by either voice vote or roll-call votes as recorded in the minutes.
Director of Accounts and Budgets Erin Rice presented a recommendation to add a full-time Health Department employee; commissioners approved that personnel addition on a roll-call vote with 10 ayes recorded.
Erin Rice also presented a request for additional budget funding for the LeNoir City Satellite Office. The minutes record the total approved allocation as $95,100, noting $46,000 as one component and a second component that the minutes aggregate into the total; the request passed on a roll-call vote with one recorded NO vote by Rosemary Quillen.
Rice presented additional proposed fund amendments and the 2024 year-end reports and exhibits. Commissioners moved to accept the reports and approve the listed fund adjustments; roll-call votes recorded the approvals as presented.
The minutes list resolution identifiers and exhibit references for the actions taken. Several items were approved with unanimous or near-unanimous votes; where a roll-call shows a dissenting vote, the minutes note the individual by name.
The meeting then moved on to additional consent items and adjourned.
