During the Jan. 5 meeting Mayor Buddy Bradshaw presented an application from Smoky Mountain Offender Tracking LLC to be designated a qualified electronic monitoring provider for Loudon County. Commissioner Van Shaver moved to approve the application; Commissioner Rosemary Quillen seconded and the motion passed by voice vote.
Other routine items approved included appointment of notaries and bonds for Angela Michele Leonard, Jacob Bradley Crowder and Savanna Wright; the commission received Approved Budget Committee minutes (Nov. 17, 2025) and summary financial reports for December 2025. Chairman Henry Cullen adjourned the meeting at 6:37 p.m.
Why it matters: vendor qualification allows the county to use the company for electronic monitoring services; notary approvals and report distributions are standard administrative matters that complete the meeting record.
