The Franklin County Board of Commissioners Legislative Committee met July 2, 2019, in Conference Room 204 at the courthouse and, in a 15-minute session, approved minutes and forwarded administrative paperwork to the full commission.
Chairman David Eldridge called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Members present were Johnny Hughes, Barbara Finney, David Eldridge and Chuck Stines. Secretary Heather Morgan and AI Tipps were listed as others present.
Chuck Stines moved to approve the minutes of June 6, 2019; Johnny Hughes seconded the motion. The committee recorded “all ayes,” approving the minutes.
Stines then moved to send seven notary applications to the full commission for consideration; Barbara Finney seconded. That motion also passed with “all ayes.” The committee did not record further discussion about the applications; the full commission will review them at a later meeting.
Johnny Hughes moved to adjourn at 6:15 p.m.; Chuck Stines seconded. The committee voted “all ayes” and the meeting ended. The minutes bear a date approved line of 10/10/2019.
