Franklin County legislative committee forwards road-list changes and 24 notary applications to full commission

Chairman David Eldridge called the Franklin County Board of Commissioners Legislative Committee to order at 6:00 p.m. on April 4, 2019, in Conference Room 204 at the courthouse.
Member Barbara Finney moved to approve the minutes of the committee’s March 7, 2019 meeting. Member Chuck Stines seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
During regular business the committee voted unanimously to forward several resolutions to the full commission. Member Chuck Stines moved, and Member Johnny Hughes seconded, to send a resolution adding Cemetery Road to the Franklin County road list; the motion carried with all ayes. Stines again moved, seconded by Hughes, to forward a resolution authorizing a change to Evans Road on the county road list; that motion also passed unanimously.
Member Barbara Finney moved to forward a resolution deleting Brakefield Road from the county road list; Finney noted the minutes originally listed the name as 'Breakfield' and requested the correction to 'Brakefield.' Member Johnny Hughes seconded, and the committee voted all ayes to forward the corrected deletion resolution.
Finney moved to send twenty-four (24) notary applications to the full commission for consideration. Member Carolyn Montoye-Wiseman seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Member Chuck Stines moved to adjourn at 6:25 p.m., seconded by Member Johnny Hughes; the motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
