Cumberland County Commission approves package of budget amendments, including $2.42M debt-service increase and summer learning transportation funds

The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners on June 16 approved a series of budget amendments and administrative measures affecting school transportation, debt service and multiple county funds, voting mostly by roll call on motions brought during the monthly meeting at the Art Circle Public Library in Crossville.

County Mayor and Commission Chairman Allen Foster opened the meeting at 6:00 P.M. The commission approved the meeting agenda and the May 19 minutes before taking up a group of resolutions bundled by motion. Commissioner Nancy Hyder moved to adopt Resolution 06-2025-1, updating the county personnel policy “as required by Tennessee Code Annotated,” a motion seconded by Commissioner Colleen Mall and carried by voice vote.
