Commissioners heard that new staff have been onboarded and that the committee will continue to refine operations as the county assumes responsibilities.
No formal vote was required; the discussion was added to the agenda at the request of Commissioner Honeycutt and recorded under Old Business.
The commission did not adopt a timeline for full operational handover during the meeting; staff and the Senior Citizens committee were directed to continue planning and report back.
