Commissioner Mike Large moved to table the item and Commissioner Shawn Peters seconded. The roll-call vote was 21–0 in favor of tabling.
The commission set a workshop for Monday, June 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. to continue deliberations on the property purchase and related grant requirements. No final purchase authorization was granted at the May 17 session.
