The Tazewell County Planning Commission on Nov. 10 approved the subdivision of Part Parcel 6, Tax Map 22 (Mud Fork Road), allowing property owner Susan Davidson to separate a 2.02‑acre home lot from an original parcel of about 185 acres.
Kenneth Dunford Jr., Director of County Engineering, told the commission the proposal meets the Subdivision Ordinance requirements and recommended approval. The commission voted 5–0 to approve the subdivision; Members Ann Robinson and Darrell Addison were absent.
The commission recorded a subdivision fee of $106.00 (Check #1333) on Nov. 10, 2022. The applicant described the plan as carving a 2.02‑acre home site and leaving the remaining roughly 183 acres intact. No conditions or amendments to the plat were noted in the minutes.
The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
