CPMT completes administrative items, readies Safe & Stable Funds inventory and trainings

The CPMT reviewed the CSA Continuous Quality Improvement dashboard, a required Attachment D inventory for the next Safe & Stable Funds grant, a statewide digital equity survey, and upcoming training opportunities; staff were asked to complete and return required assessments.
During its July 24 meeting the CPMT reviewed several administrative items required for grant and program compliance. Members received the Fourth Quarter CSA Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) dashboard with expenditure, service utilization and outcome measures for Tazewell, Buchanan and Russell counties and were asked to review the data.
The packet included Attachment D, a 2025 Inventory of Community Services, Gaps & Needs survey that is required for the Safe & Stable Funds grant application. David Taylor reported that fiscal assistant Shanun Smith is working on the Safe & Stable Funds grant submission and asked CPMT members to complete the inventory and related items; the Attachment D survey must be completed by CPMT and is due in August.
Roberta Boyd reminded the body that the statewide Digital Equity Survey (sent June 27) had a July 15 deadline to capture baseline barriers to internet access. Members were also informed of training opportunities: Help Hope Healing on Aug. 3 in Abingdon addressing suicide and mental-health stigma, and a substance-abuse and drug-trend training and seminar on Sept. 18–19.
Members received the OCS Self-Assessment Workbook for the Internal Control Environment Assessment Survey and were asked to complete that internal review as well. The CPMT recorded these administrative obligations and set an expectation of preparing materials for the next scheduled meeting on Aug. 28, 2023.
