Lunenburg County electoral board schedules EPB delivery and cybersecurity meeting ahead of June primary

Chairman Donna Dagner called the Lunenburg County Electoral Board to order on April 6, and Secretary Oliver Wright reported that Demtech will deliver the county's electronic poll book (EPB) equipment on Friday, April 9 at 1:00 p.m., with Demtech representative Mike Brown listed as the delivery contact.
Wright said the board plans to conduct EPB training at the office by precinct rather than holding a single centralized session, and that staff will consult the County Administrator about the disposition of surplus notebook computers that had been intended for EPB use but were not deployed.
On cybersecurity, Wright reported the Assura project is mostly complete and that the board will hold an electronic meeting with Assura on Wednesday, April 7 at 9:30 a.m. "The meeting tomorrow will concentrate on our office procedures and then the documentation and certification will be done," Wright said when summarizing the plan to finish certification work already underway with Rob Williams.
The board noted related operational milestones for the upcoming primary, including logic-and-accuracy testing for the CAP on April 19 and the start of early voting on April 23. The board adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
