Bryan Krogman of Community Mental Health–Central Michigan asked the Mecosta County Board of Commissioners to sign a resolution formally opposing a Michigan Department of Health and Human Services plan to implement competitive procurement for Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans (PIHP). The board tabled the request; no board vote to adopt the resolution was recorded in the minutes.
Separately, Paul Griffith of Mecosta Recycles provided an update on recycling services in the community, announced the organization's name change to Mecosta Recycles and introduced the new operations manager, Elvira.
