The Chippewa County Department of Veteran Affairs Committee approved routine minutes, two small MVAA grant-distribution entries and two food-assistance payments during its Sept. 30 meeting at the Chippewa Courthouse in Sault Ste. Marie.
Secretary Brooks Partridge opened the meeting at 4:00 p.m. and confirmed a quorum. Robert Savoie moved to approve the meeting agenda; Dr. Frederick Ludwig seconded and the voice vote carried.
The committee approved the Aug. 11 and Aug. 26, 2025 committee minutes on voice votes. Motions to approve those minutes were moved by Robert Savoie and seconded by Dr. Frederick Ludwig (the Aug. 26 minutes motion was moved by Dr. Ludwig and seconded by Savoie).
