Maples reports near‑full occupancy; Benzie Senior Resources notes first wait list for home health

Garza said admitted residents were county residents or family members of county residents. Staffing is about 151–155 employees and Maples is recruiting a full‑time human resources person. She invited commissioners to a 50th‑anniversary event on July 25.
Benzie Senior Resources Director Bridgitt Hassing said the Home Healthcare program is, for the first time, seeing a wait list and described possible expanded services including adult daycare and higher levels of care to address an aging population. The minutes do not include program budgets, estimated wait times or enrollment caps.
