The Barry County Board of Commissioners on July 8 approved a slate of claims and reimbursements during its regular session. Commissioners voted unanimously to approve prepaid invoices totaling $3,697,162.44; the motion was made by Commissioner Mike Callton and seconded by Commissioner Catherine Getty.
The board also unanimously approved additional claims totaling $95,312.04 (motion by Callton, second by Bob Teunessen) and approved commissioner mileage reimbursements of $615.30 (motion by Callton, second by David Hatfield). Each item passed on a roll-call vote with all eight members voting yes.
These approvals were presented as routine claims and consent items on the agenda. The motions carry standard administrative effect: payments may proceed according to county procedures after the board's authorization.
