Fulton County approves replacement dispatch clocks, regional support contract and two-year hazmat agreement

Fulton County commissioners on Dec. 23 approved emergency services purchases and agreements, including replacement dispatch clocks and a two-year hazmat team contract.
Brian Barton, EMA/911 Director, told the board the county's dispatch clocks "are over twenty years old and are in dire need of replacement," and that the Pre Alert system is in place with information sent to local fire departments. Barton also provided updates on trainings completed and scheduled.
Following Barton's presentation, the board unanimously approved a ComPros quote for two dispatch clocks totaling $4,940.00 to cover hardware and installation. Commissioners also approved the 2026 Mission Critical Partners Regional Support Contract for Professional Services; minutes note the contract is fully grant funded but do not include the contract text.
The board approved a two-year Hazmat Team agreement with McCUTCHEON Enterprises, Inc., with payments of $2,500 for fiscal year 2026 and $7,500 for fiscal year 2027. All motions were recorded as "All in favor." The meeting adjourned at 11:21 a.m.
