The Grant County Board approved several law‑enforcement items Oct. 1, including a contract with policy provider Lexipol LLC, a facilities rekeying project and a quoted purchase of body cameras.
By roll call the board approved the Lexipol LLC Master Service Agreement for a 2026 policy manual and subscription. Commissioners also approved a $655.28 bid to rekey four doors at the Sheriff's Department office.
Separately, the board accepted a quote from Axon Enterprise, Inc. for five body cameras and a 60‑month license totaling $14,923.20. Minutes record that the sheriff's office will pursue grant funding to cover that purchase. All motions carried on roll calls with Hochhalter, Meyer and Zenker voting aye.
Sheriff Dillon provided a monthly update earlier in the meeting; no operational details beyond the approved purchases and the funding plan for the body cameras were recorded in the minutes.
